Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Effective: October 29, 2026
This policy explains what personal information StadiumWire (“Stadium Wire”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit stadiumwire.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Who runs this site: StadiumWire.
01. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you sign up for The Morning Brief, we store the email address you enter and the date you signed up. If you email us or leave a comment, we receive the details you send, such as your name, email address and message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers log technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
What we do not collect. We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of readers.
02. How We Use Your Data
- To run and secure the site, including preventing abuse and fixing errors.
- To send The Morning Brief to people who asked for it, once sending starts. Every email will include an unsubscribe link.
- To answer messages and publish comments you submit.
- To meet legal obligations.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors): your consent for the newsletter, and our legitimate interest in running a secure website for everything else.
03. Cookies
Readers who simply visit the site get no tracking cookies. WordPress sets a few functional cookies only if you log in or leave a comment. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
04. Advertising
We do not currently show advertising. If we add an ad network such as Google AdSense, we will update this policy before any advertising cookies are used and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
05. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell or rent personal information. Newsletter sign-ups are stored on our own website and are not shared with any email service. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which stores the site and its server logs on our behalf. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the site and its readers.
06. How Long We Keep Data
Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Comments are kept while they are published. Server logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and operations. The site uses HTTPS encryption, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
07. Your Privacy Rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your newsletter consent at any time. Visitors in the EEA and UK can also object to processing and complain to their local data protection authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws can request to know, correct and delete their information; we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
We will respond to requests within the time the law requires.
08. Children’s Privacy
Stadium Wire is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
09. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when the site changes, for example before adding advertising or analytics. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
