Accuracy matters more to us than speed. When a story on Stadium Wire contains an error, we fix it in the open.
How we correct
- We check the reported error against the cited sources, official league or team pages and box scores.
- If the story is wrong, we correct the text and add a dated note at the bottom of the story, for example: “Correction (Oct. 30, 2026): An earlier version gave the wrong final score. It was 24-21.”
- We never change a fact silently. Fixes to spelling or formatting that do not change meaning are made without a note.
- If a source we cited turns out to be unreliable, we replace it and say so in the note.
